Project management

  • Supervise the entire life cycle of the project, from initial design to construction and installation of steel structures.
  • Plan and coordinate the stages of the project while respecting the established deadlines and budget.

Team Coordination

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team including engineers, industrial designers and other professionals.
  • Ensure smooth communication between team members to ensure consistency of efforts.

Resource Management

  • Effectively allocate the human and material resources necessary to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor costs, deadlines and quality of work performed.

Customer Relations

  • Be the main point of contact with the client and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Understand the client’s needs and ensure the project meets their expectations.

Technical Design

  • Work collaboratively with engineering and drafting teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and industry standards.

Compliance with Standards and Regulations

  • Ensure all phases of the project meet safety standards, local regulations and building codes.


  • Degree in civil engineering, structural engineering or related field.
  • Significant experience in managing steel structure projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of steel-related design and construction standards.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, execution and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project).
  • Ability to make quick decisions and resolve complex problems.
Industrial Designer - Steel Specialization

Technical Design

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret project specifications related to steel.
  • Create detailed drawings, plans and 2D/3D models for steel structures.

Constraint Analysis

  • Evaluate the technical constraints and challenges related to the manufacturing and installation of steel structures.
  • Propose innovative solutions to optimize designs while respecting quality standards.

Coordination with Teams

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, manufacturers and production teams to ensure designs are feasible.
  • Participate in coordination meetings to align efforts between different departments.

Control software

  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD Advance steel

Technical documentation

  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation accompanying each design, including specifications, standards and manufacturing details.


  • Degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Relevant experience in the design of steel structures.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of steel properties and manufacturing techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
